How do you design signs for the inside of someone’s home?
Signage for this assisted living and memory care facility included a monument sign for the exterior, a full interior sign system, and promotional and operational signage for the construction and early resident sign-up phases.

How do you design signs for the inside of someone’s home?
Signage for this assisted living and memory care facility included a monument sign for the exterior, a full interior sign system, and promotional and operational signage for the construction and early resident sign-up phases.
The monument sign design has a curved face and holds close to the architectural style of the building — including incorporating the same stone as the building entrance. Lantern-like end columns are internally lit through panes of medium blue that match the company brand color.
For the interior sign system, KSD worked closely with the facility’s interior design firm to complement the look and atmosphere they were developing. Our work included wayfinding signs for the sprawling two-story complex, as well as identification of rooms, “neighborhoods,” and all areas of back-of-house operations. One design detail to help organize a visitor‘s navigation through the building was a set of background patterns — a unique pattern which ran through each neighborhood’s signs.
For the wall logo at the front desk a thick transluscent material was chosen to creates a soft interplay of front and back faces within the letters and in the cast shadows
During construction a sales office was established nearby. KSD designed promotional window clings as well as banners marking both the office and the construction site.
