After the Space Needle and Pike Place Market, the Hiram M. Chittenden Locks and Lake Washington Ship Canal is Seattle’s No. 3 tourist destination. KSD conducted interviews, observed visitor traffic patterns, organized historical research, and photographed all aspects of the unique attraction before designing the final interpretive guidebook.
