Changing Technology, Changing Image
The previous KTA logo.
The Kentucky Telephone Association was established in 1937 to support the general interests and welfare of the nascent telephone industry. Recognizing the rapid change in communication technology, the association recently updated part of its name from "Telephone" to "Telecom" to better reflect the organization's scope. KSD designed a new logo to support this change.
Fastest County in the State
When one of our clients was ready to launch its groundbreaking Gigabit Internet service to customers in south-central Kentucky, KSD was charged with naming and branding this exciting new service. We were there to help get the word out and give the new service a professional, appealing identity.
The strength of the Duo County brand lies in its fifty-plus-year history of staying in step with the latest technological services to meet the needs of local customers. The updated corporate logo reflects the changes in the telecommunications industry without abandoning its roots. The visual identity is applied to a wide range of company communications including the annual report, direct mail marketing, in-store marketing, the company website, outdoor advertising, customer newsletters, service vans and secondary graphic identifiers.
Business Communications EVERYWHERE
An existing telecommunications client engaged KSD to design branded materials for a new company that provides hosted business communications. NTouch offers a business phone system that integrates all the ways a customer communicates, including mobile, messaging, conferencing and computer desktop sharing, in addition to traditional business calling features. This service will be available to a much wider customer base than the current service area — basically, anyone with an Internet connection.
As part of marketing campaign to launch a rebranded wireless carrier— NMobile— in New Mexico, KSD developed this 30 second TV commercial.
New Mexico's Newest
One of New Mexico's oldest telecommunications providers — LEACO — partnered with KSD to rebrand its wireless telephone service. Following market research and focus-group testing, KSD worked with the client to develop and launch NMobile, New Mexico's newest wireless service. The project included naming, graphic identity, signage, website, marketing, brochures and in-store point-of-purchase materials, among others.
