Coordinated Marketing Introduces Healthcare Service
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, the primary healthcare provider in a 10-county area of rural Kentucky, asked KSD to create a graphic identity and develop an introductory marketing campaign for the Heart & Lung Institute of Lake Cumberland.
Introductory marketing materials included a 60-day quick-reveal billboard campaign that was designed to pique curiosity and then introduce the service. Tied to that campaign were coordinated newspaper and radio ads, a direct mail campaign, and letters of introduction to physicians in the region.
Logo for a New Drug Testing Company
The challenge with this project was to develop a logo that is striking, yet professional and serious around a name that, at first glance, seems less than serious. The company name is an acroynm for the parent company Premiere Integrity Solutions.
The logo: The initial letters of P.I.S. are highlighted as distinct elements to emphasize they are initials and not a word. Hexagon shapes are invoked from the skeleton formulas often used to visually represent chemical molecules, and the color palette is based on a section of the bright colors used in some drug test indicators.
Complications of Drug Use Illustrated in Posters for Workplace and Schools
Premier Integrity Solutions is a comprehensive resource for drug screening and program compliance. In addition to developing an identity, website, marketing and packaging, our scope of work included designing posters for clients to display. The jumbled letters on each poster symbolize the complications of drug use while establishing the location as a drug-free environment.
QuickCare's exterior/interior signs were developed as an extension of the graphic identity system KSD established for the walk-in medical clinic. The custom room numbering system does double duty as the patient chart holder. In addition to extended operating hours, the facility offers in-house laboratory and X-ray services.
The Wright Approach
As part of a complete branding campaign for MedPark West, KSD developed exterior signage for this premier medical office park in Somerset. The entrance sign was designed to fit the scale of the large development and to complement its Prairie-style architecture with its metal repeat pattern and long, low profile. Other sign types include temporary directional and informational signs, dimensional exterior lettering designed for buildings in the development, and an interior sign system for the primary physician suites.
Medical Tune Up
The centerpiece of this sign system KSD designed for Oxford Medical Associates, a large custom medical cross, is actually a working wind chime. Three other exterior elements mark the property entrance and display doctors' names at two practice entrances. Inside, each suite's sign system was unique and designed to complement that particular interior design scheme.
