The Kentucky Telephone Association was established in 1937 to support the general interests and welfare of the nascent telephone industry. Recognizing the rapid change in communication technology, the association recently updated part of its name from "Telephone" to "Telecom" to better reflect the organization's scope. KSD designed a new logo to support this change.

Fastest County in the State

When one of our clients was ready to launch its groundbreaking Gigabit Internet service to customers in south-central Kentucky, KSD was charged with naming and branding this exciting new service. We were there to help get the word out and give the new service a professional, appealing identity.

The Valley Oak Technology Complex is a 150-acre regional business park designed to attract knowledge-based, technology-intensive companies to Somerset and Pulaski County. In 2001, KSD was tasked with developing a logo for the park, named for the community of Valley Oak, and located next to the Valley Oak Commerce Park, the county's industrial campus.

Growing a Website for a Green Product — SEO for National Recycling Trailers

Rising in search results can take months or years for new companies. Search engines consider reputation among hundreds of factors, many of them proprietary, to best deliver pertinent results. Search Engine Optimization (SEO) involves applying the latest data on these factors during website development to help outperform competitors who don’t take SEO into account.

A Website as Elegant as the Artwork Itself

Chris Ramsey had been making beautiful turned wood hats and bowls for many years when he came to us looking for a new website. Like all artists, Chris’ focus is on creating, honing his skills and innovating new techniques.

It was our job to bring his art to life on the Internet. After talking with Chris about his needs, the process began with filling the KSD studio with a bounty of stunning bowls and hats for us to photograph. The goal was to capture and emphasize the simplicity and elegance of Chris’ work.
