"A car battery, a real estate development, a glass of wine, an iPhone App, and, a urine test. What do each of these have in common?"

This was how Kirby began his lecture to the ELI (Entrepreneurial Leadership Institute) class of 2013 at the Center for Rural Development earlier this month.

Stunning Photography Paces the Way

Page after page of engaging, high-impact photography in TOUR Southern and Eastern Kentucky's visitor region guide shows the real essence of the best this area has to offer. Working closely with the TOUR SEKY staff, KSD designed this publication to be a bold and exciting invitation to experience the adventures of the region.
This free tourism guide focuses on five main areas of adventure — outdoors, music, agriculture, history and arts and crafts. The guidebook also offers adventure maps and potential itineraries for the casual traveler.

Rebranding a Superior Product

In its 30 years in business, Superior Battery's most successful strategy has been to diversify products and processes and seize opportunities when they are available.

Dynamic DUO

The strength of the Duo County brand lies in its fifty-plus-year history of staying in step with the latest technological services to meet the needs of local customers. The updated corporate logo reflects the changes in the telecommunications industry without abandoning its roots. The visual identity is applied to a wide range of company communications including the annual report, direct mail marketing, in-store marketing, the company website, outdoor advertising, customer newsletters, service vans and secondary graphic identifiers.

Working within a Larger Brand System for SCC

As part of the 16-school Kentucky Community & Technical College System, SCC's marketing materials need to dovetail with the system brand. Fonts, logos and colors are outlined by KCTCS' identity guidelines but otherwise schools are encouraged to create their own marketing materials that showcase their campuses, programs and unique strengths.
