Since 2003 Operation UNITE has worked to rid communities in Eastern Kentucky of illegal drug use through undercover narcotics investigations, coordinating treatment for substance abusers, providing support to families and friends of substance abusers, and educating the public about the dangers of using drugs. UNITE’s goal is to educate and activate individuals by developing and empowering community coalitions to no longer accept or tolerate the drug culture.

Coordinated Marketing Introduces Healthcare Service
Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, the primary healthcare provider in a 10-county area of rural Kentucky, asked KSD to create a graphic identity and develop an introductory marketing campaign for the Heart & Lung Institute of Lake Cumberland.
Introductory marketing materials included a 60-day quick-reveal billboard campaign that was designed to pique curiosity and then introduce the service. Tied to that campaign were coordinated newspaper and radio ads, a direct mail campaign, and letters of introduction to physicians in the region.
